Why do we become more negative from within?

Most of us feel better when we go to the place of worship but we feel bad when we have gone to the hospital. This is the aura of the positive and negative energy of the place that we’ve been to. We feel positive energy in the house of god as it represents good. Whereas, the negative energy from unwell patience effects the energy within us.

In our lives, we were born joyful and beautiful. The sight of a new born baby always draws a big smile on our faces. How did we become angry, resentful, jealous, and lost that joyfulness within us? It is during our growing up that we end up absorbing all the negativity of our social surroundings and of the world. Human being has a natural tendency to copy or imitate another and if you observe a baby growing up, you’ll notice this.

 

Unconsciously, we end up copying many of the wrong things from people who are close to us. When we see with our eyes the things that our parents do but when they speak untruthfully, we learn that it is normal to lie when the circumstances requires’ us to. Listening to our friends speaking out of jealousy of another, we learn to be jealous instead of acquiring the reason for their success. Today, the social media that we use have so much negative comments, fake news, frustration; simply because the user input those from their thoughts. They had grown up with so much bitterness, anger, resentment, jealousy that they vent it to the world. Imagine what will happen to the future of this world when all the children and lads absorb this negative information. Yes, our world will become more negative and bitter.

Positivity will be reduced within ourselves when negativity level increases. What if we could reduce the negativity and increase the positivity in us. Yes, our lives will become better and we will live with more joy, peace, confidence and fulfilling. It takes a lot of effort to remove the negative virus which had infected our mind. First, we must not give room to negative thoughts. When the negative thoughts come, tell yourself to stop continuing your thoughts. You control your thoughts: you decide what goes in your mind. A lot of practice is needed before we can actually remove plenty of that negativity.

Remember, a person does not change in a day. We can’t change ourselves to be more positive just by attending a talk or reading some books. Change within happens over a period of time. If you allow yourself to eat a burger now, it doesn’t affect you now, but if you continue to eat unhealthy food and years later, you will see the results. A person who’s diabetic probably had too much sugar intake for so long that he became diabetic. It didn’t happen just now that he drank a soft drink. Similarly, our attitudes, habits, character, behaviour today is because of our negligence from day one. When we press the snooze button on our alarm clock once. When we don’t tidy up our beds upon getting up once. When we watch tv instead of doing our studies once. Over a period of time, it multiplies to twice, thrice until it becomes out attitude, habit, character and behaviour. When a negative thought creep up, stop it immediately. You will be thankful in years to come. Re-start your life today and not later or tomorrow.
